Leadership

Star Hitchers will design a Leadership program to meet a client’s specifications. Star Hitchers also provides two standard models that may serve the purpose or provide a foundation for a tailored approach.

• Instructional Leadership Academy for principals and lead teachers is a three-day training followed by webinars and consultations. The curriculum covers the roles of a school Leadership Team and teacher Instructional Teams in designing and delivering strong, standards-aligned, individualized instruction. Web-based tools include a Unit Builder and IPad observation tool. Upon successful completion of the training and the year-long follow-up, the participant is recognized as a Certified Instructional Leader.
  
  
• Rapid Improvement Leader Academy for principals seeking a bold new direction for their schools is a three-day training followed by webinars and consultations. Based on cross-sector turnaround research, the Rapid Improvement Leader Academy prepares a principal to lead a school toward dramatically improved results. Upon successful completion of the training and the year-long follow-up, the participant is recognized as a Certified Rapid Improvement Leader.
